Superior VBDW10 1" Dirty Water Brass In-Line Valve

The Superior VBDW10 is the 1 in. VBDW dirty-water
brass in-line valve. Reverse-flow design keeps the valve closed if the
diaphragm tears. It ships with the standard 20/30 VAC solenoid used on
the VBDW series.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Superior VBDW10?
1 in. VBDW07 is 3/4 in., VBDW10 is 1 in., VBDW12 is 1 1/4 in., VBDW15 is
1 1/2 in., and VBDW20 is 2 in.

What voltage does VBDW10 use?
The VBDW series comes with a standard 20/30 VAC solenoid, the usual 24 VAC
irrigation coil. It is not a 110 VAC valve. 975100 is the 110 VAC 1 in. valve.

Which solenoid replaces the one on a VBDW10?
VDWASKIT is the complete 24 VAC solenoid assembly for every VBDW size,
including VBDW10. 16075 is the 3100 master-valve solenoid and does not fit
this valve.

Why is the VBDW a reverse-flow valve?
Superior’s reverse-flow design stays closed if the diaphragm tears or
is punctured. Non-continuous flow through the solenoid and valve orifices
is what Superior specifies for dirty-water service.
