Easy to install. My husband replaced an ancient hard-wired Rain Bird unit with this one utilizing the plug in that’s attached. He has never programmed a sprinkler system…I have way more patience and it was needed for the old controller whose selector knob and switch that changes the zones from 1-6 to 7-12 were wearing out. He programmed it in 15 minutes for the 7 zones (purchased a 3 zone module along with this) in my in-laws yard. Very happy how easy this is to use and install.

I purchased this controller about a week ago and even though I received it late in the afternoon around 6:15 PM I had it up and running by 7:00 PM as this was just a changeout. The wireless rain sensor (sold separately) arrived two days later and it also was not a problem to install and wire into the controller. I also purchased the WiFi unit and it plugged right in the accessory port. By following the instructions in the downloadable app it too was simple to configure. The system is working great and the equipment was delivered as promised.

I ordered this controller to replace an old Toro box that was worn out, I have had this for a month of so and couldn’t be happier with it. I got the WIFI module so I can do all my changes etc from my phone which I love.
No more getting out of bed in the middle of the night to turn sprinklers off when a unexpected rain storm moves in. It has performed flawlessly for me and so glad I got this one!!

Replacement for one that had a transformer failure because of major power surge from improperly installed generator. This is an excellent product, easy to install and works fine.
